Arthur Duff (Chairman)

Arthur is an architect and designer practicing and teaching in Ireland and India. 

Arthur is a  former president of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and a former Council member of the RDS. Arthur is a council member and former president of the Friends of the National Collections of Ireland and a member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland. He has been a member of the Irish Museum Trust Board since 2016. He is a director of the WEFT Foundation which connects ideas and people around the globe.

Marion Cashman B Arch, RIAI. 

Marion Cashman is a retired architect with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in both Ireland and the UK.  

Beyond her architectural practice, Marion has made significant contributions to the fields of architectural conservation and heritage. She was a board member of the Irish Georgian Society Foundation and served as editor of the Irish Georgian Society’s 50th Anniversary book in 2008. She also established the IGS Conservation Award and edited Russborough for the Alfred Beit Foundation. Additionally, she collaborated with author Robert O’Byrne by providing valuable historical insights for his book Luggala Days.

Dr Georgina Jackson

Georgina is the director of The Douglas Hyde Gallery of Contemporary Art at Trinity College Dublin. 

Prior to this she was the Director of Exhibitions & Programs at Mercer Union, a centre for contemporary art, Toronto, and has held curatorial roles at The Hugh Lane, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and The Mattress Factory Art Museum in Pittsburgh. She has commissioned new work by artists including Bassam Issa Al-Sabah, Deanna Bowen, Duane Linklater, Jumana Manna, Garrett Phelan and Alice Rekab. She has partnered with the Toronto International Film Festival, Images Festival, the Irish Film Institute and aemi and was a member of the Steering Committee of the National Campaign for the Arts from 2018-2022. She completed her practice-based PhD through the Graduate School of Creative Arts and Media, Dublin, and has taught at the University of Toronto, the Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire and the National College of Art & Design.

Marie McMahon

Marie is the managing curator of Tipperary County Councils Museum Service, with over 21 year’s diverse experience. 

Marie joined the board of the Irish Museums Trust in 2021 and is a strong advocator for the Irish museum sector and has cultivated effective skills in strategic planning and policy making. Marie has project managed and led many innovative, economic and cultural tourism projects, such as the redevelopment and interpretation of the Tipperary Museum’s collection, in association with Tipperary County Council and Fáilte Ireland. She was appointed Designated Curator by the Director of National Museum of Ireland and is the current Chairperson of the Local Authority Museums Network. 

Marie’s primary Degree is in Fashion Design and Art History, Certificates in Project Management, Women in Leadership, Tourism Business Practice, Facilitation and Developmental Community Arts. Marie is also a board member of the Irish Museums Association.
